501 Collective does the heavy lifting of storytelling, fundraising, consulting and more for nonprofits around the world, allowing our partners to more easily focus on their missions.

Years of trips and making friends around the globe lead a group of like-minded business leaders and creatives to find a way to support all the good they saw others working towards.
501 Collective supports our partners and their different projects throughout the world as needed. Each of our partners have a proven record of success, changing lives every day; we’re there to give them a boost and bring attention to their work. At no cost to them.
Our Process
We vet each new partner to make sure their funds are spent in accordance to their mission, they’re doing good, honest work and they’re making an actual difference in their communities.
Our partners Ask a simple question: “What are your goals and how can we help you get there?” This might include:
Giving each nonprofit a website overhaul and rebranding.
Providing a complete on-site photo + video package to use in their social media and website, etc.
Consulting / training on growth, management, finances and areas specific to each nonprofit.
Fundraising for projects on their behalf - we give through project-based support rather than a steady, monthly donation.
Planning and equipping for financial sustainability so 501 Collective is eventually no longer needed. (we’re trying to work ourselves out of a job)
It’s Very Simple
Most international 501.c.3 nonprofit founders will sell all their possessions and move overseas in an effort to improve other’s lives. It’s not always glamorous, it’s incredibly hard, demanding work and it’s a 24/7 uphill struggle to gain financial and moral support.
501 Collective knows this, and we want to be their support … for a season. Our goal is to always work towards sustainability for all of our partners, whether that’s opening a local business such as a small tourist hotel, agriculture or more, we want to help get them to a place where they no longer need to rely on outside support.
Supporting nonprofits is so much more than just sending hard-earned money overseas. By creating sustainability, our partners won’t need to spend a lifetime asking for consent donations. When you give to 501 Collective, you help support our entire process.
What’s in it for us? We’re excited for the day where each nonprofit calls us to say they don’t need us anymore. That’s the goal. And then, we go to the next undiscovered, yet locally powerful nonprofit and start all over.
By fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity, 501 Collective aims to make a positive impact on the world and inspire others to do the same.
